Logo Infusion named Preferred Vendor for IGBO & Storm Jerseys

The IGBO board is excited to announce that Logo Infusion will be a preferred vendor for co-branded IGBO & Storm jerseys.  As members of IGBO, you have the opportunity to order jerseys for yourself and others in various colors, styles and sizes.  There are 6 colorful choices and the collar choices are crewneck, V-neck, polo or sash (1/4 zip front).  You can also personalize your jersey with your first and last name on the back of the jersey.

Orders and payment are handled directly with Logo Infusion at http://www.logoinfusion.com/igbo/.

The base price is $59.99 (extra for extended sizes).  Shipping is not included and Logo Infusion offers expedited processing (additional cost).  Normal production turnaround time is 3 – 4 weeks.

The apparel and corresponding items are co-branded for IGBO and Storm, with Logo Infusion as the preferred vendor only.  No other brands will be allowed (bowling ball, shoe or sponsor) to be on the items ordered through Logo Infusion.

San Francisco, Fort Lauderdale selected to host IGBO Conferences

Omaha, Nebraska, May 22, 2015: San Francisco, California and Fort Lauderdale, Florida have been selected as the host cities for upcoming International Gay Bowling Organization® (IGBO®) Conferences.  IGBO conducts conferences on a semi-annual basis to convene representatives from lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) bowling leagues and tournaments worldwide.

The city of San Francisco, California was selected over Milwaukee, Wisconsin to become the destination for the IGBO Mid-Year Conference and Tournament in November 2016.  The committee announced the theme as “Tales of the City” with plans to incorporate elements from the book throughout the conference.  IGBO Mid-Year 2016 will take place November 8-14, 2015.

The city of Fort Lauderdale, Florida was selected as the host city for the IGBO Annual Conference and Tournament for May 2017.  The bid committee presented a bid themed “Hello Sunny” where they highlighted their city as a prime destination.

“South Florida over the Memorial Day weekend is like paradise with beautiful sunny weather, warm tropical breezes, and the world class beaches. South Florida ranks as one of the top tourist destinations in the world. Our community has hundreds of LGBT owned and operated businesses, including hotels, retail establishments, nightclubs, restaurants and bars. Fort Lauderdale prides itself on being a diverse and safe destination for all visitors.”

Each bid to host the conference was assembled by local bowlers their respective cities.  Each committee traveled to Omaha, Nebraska, host of the 35th IGBO Annual Conference to present their bid before the IGBO General Membership with representation from United States, Canada and Australia.

International LGBT Athlete Survey

The Federation of Gay Games, in conjunction with GLISA, has prepared a important survey, store and is asking members of the LGBT sports, culture, and human rights communities to respond to it. The intent is to find out from the combined constituencies what they feel is important to them regarding the production of a global event focusing on sport, culture and human rights.
